Pindapatha Arms Giving for 'Tripitakabhivandana' Week
'Tripitakabhivandana' week, to mark the occasion of initiating the process to declare the Theravada Tripitaka as a World Heritage, began today the 16th March 2019. The programme will continue untill March 23.
Starting the week long ceremonies , 'Pindapatha" alms giving was conducted today based on the Pemaduwa Sri Sumangala Piriven Viharaya in Mahawilachchiya Divisional Secretariat Division.
